  1. Some communities say אדון עולם as well as אני מאמין at the end of Shacharis. Why is that practice not followed in Chabad? [1]

  3. In the event that someone dropped Tefilin, it is customary to fast. The Tefilin of a blind man ר”ל dropped without him noticing it. Need we tell him about it? [3]
  4. The fast of the 17th of Tamuz occurs this year on a Sunday. In Iceland and Alaska, it doesn’t become dark at this time of the year, so Shabbos ends at midnight, which is also dawn. Should they make Havdolo early Monday AM or is there an option of doing Havdolo – without a flame – late on Shabbos PM? [4]
  5. Our non-Jewish home-help has occasionally placed meaty and milky dishes together in the dishwasher. Are all the dishes treif? [5]
  6. My son kept tea bags in his suitcase under his bed. May he use the tea? [6]
  7. Birkas haTorah: Having napped or dozed off during the night, do I say Birkas haTorah before resuming to learn Torah when I wake up? [7]
  8. We have a friend that has limited mobility, who resides in an Assisted Living facility. One Erev Yomtov she asks me to include her in my Eruv Tavshilin. Is that acceptable? [8]
