Avremel Keller, father of 8 ka”h, had a life-threatening reaction to an anesthetic given during a simple outpatient surgery. B”H, his condition is improving.
Avremel has been in Lenox Hill hospital receiving optimal care. After his condition stabilized, he was taken off the ventilator. Shortly after that he had a stroke and additional complications developed. For 2 days he was sedated and the extent of the stroke’s damage was unknown.
B”H since last night, things are looking better. During the night he was awake and alert, and knew where he was. The doctors are hoping to take him off the ventilator today. The Kellers thank the Crown Heights community and Yidden all over the world for their incredible generosity.
Avremel’s wife is so grateful for the support, and secure in the knowledge that they will get through this difficult time with Hashem’s help and the community rallying around them.
There is still a long road to recovery and your tefillos are needed for Avrohom Ben Shterna Sara.
Good shabbos, looking forward to sharing good news.
