The Rebbe Gave Incredible Brachos, And We Can Tap In

There aren’t many institutions that the Rebbe would personally fundraise for. But for the Oholei Yosef Yitzchok network in Eretz Yisroel – “the Reshet”, the Rebbe would hold an appeal every year, and offer brachos to each donor.

Each year on Yud Beis Tammuz, as thousands of chassidim packed into 770 for a joyous farbrengen, the Rebbe would turn to them with a request.

“In recent years, we’ve established a tradition of holding a magbis during the Yud Beis Tammuz farbrengen. This fundraiser supports institutions worldwide named after the ba’al hageulah… Everyone should contribute generously, in the manner of ‘ufaratza.’” (12 Tammuz 5720).

The Rebbe would ask that chassidim donate to the Oholei Yosef Yitzchok network of schools in Eretz Yisroel – the “Reshet.” The Reshet is named for the ba’al hageulah, the Frierdiker Rebbe, and it is a powerhouse of chinuch, which the Frierdiker Rebbe sacrificed his life for. As such, the Rebbe felt it was a proper and fitting tribute to the Frierdiker Rebbe, and asked that all chassidim participate.

But it wasn’t simply a request. Each year, the Rebbe would offer incredible brachos to each of the donors, saying that Hashem would undoubtedly repay them for their generosity.

“[Donating to the Reshet] brings nachas ruach to the Rebbe and will draw down blessings for you and your family in all your physical and spiritual needs,” the Rebbe said on 12 Tammuz 5713.

On other occasions, the Rebbe gave brachos for wealth (12 Tammuz, 5720), protection (12 Tammuz, 5717), children and parnasah, (12 Tammuz, 5719), and many other brachos. In the Rebbe’s Igros Kodesh one can find even more brachos granted by the Rebbe to each person involved in the Reshet and to its supporters.

This year, for the first time, the magbis is being taken to the next level. An online campaign will allow chassidim from across the globe to partake in the magbis, thus fulfilling the Rebbe’s request.

Surely, the Rebbe will continue to shower his brachos on those who take part, fulfilling his annual call to chassidim.

Today, the Reshet is flourishing with over 600 schools and 40,000 students. Every year, the Reshet is growing and expanding, opening new schools to constantly reach more students and do more for the families of Eretz Yisrael.

The war has made the Reshet’s mission even more critical. With thousands of families displaced from the North, the Reshet is opening even more schools in the coming year to meet the needs of children who have been forced to leave their homes.

Now is your chance! Your donation strengthens Eretz Yisrael through the Torah study of Jewish children. Give them the spiritual tools they need to create a safe and secure future in Eretz Yisrael.
