Subsidized buses will shuttle to and from the Rebbe’s Ohel from Sunday, 16 Iyar through Tuesday, Lag B’omer, giving Chassidim an opportunity to visit the Rebbe’s Ohel during this auspicious time.

Hundreds of thousands of Jews are gathering at Meron for the celebrations tonight and tomorrow of the Lag B’Omer at the kever of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Several measures have been put in place to avoid overcrowding.

A grand unity bonfire for the entire Crown Heights community will be held on Monday night, Lag B’Omer at George Wingate High School on Kingston Avenue. A special children’s program will also be held.

The annual Lag B’Omer fair will take place Tuesday afternoon following the Great Parade, 25 rides, face painting, balloon animals and shows, and will be free of charge.

Hakhel means no one is missing! Plans are changing as groups from all over the world head to Crown Heights in honor of Lag B’Omer.
