Thousands of shluchim from across the globe filled 770 Eastern Parkway to learn and daven on the first day of the International Kinus Hashluchim 5782.
Shluchim arrived at the Kinus Hashluchim inspired and charged after a three-week-long preparation, focused on the sicha of Chayei Sara 5752, helping them be more “Vision Conscious” in their shlichus.
After months of preparation, a dedicated team of Merkos staff and volunteers kicked off the 39th annual Kinus Hashluchim on Wednesday.

The once-familiar sight of shluchim arriving in Crown Heights finally replayed itself on Wednesday, as hundreds arrived ahead of the first day of the Kinus Hashluchim, registering at the Jewish Children’s Museum and davening in 770 and the Rebbe’s room.
Rabbi Mendy Sternbach of Lagos, Nigeria, will be delivering the Dvar Torah at the Gala Banquet of the Kinus Hashluchim this Sunday. Rabbi Mendy and Mazal Sternbach and their family established the 11th Chabad House in sub-Saharan Africa last year.
