A gathering marking 30 days since the passing of Rabbi Shmarya Katzen will be held on Sunday evening at Lubavitch Yeshiva on Crown Street.

Rabbi Katzen lovingly served as a mechanech for close to 5 decades at the Rebbe’s behest. In Lubavitch Yeshiva, he served as a Rebbi and role model, instilling ahavas Hashem and yiras shomayim in his young charges.

The gathering, which will feature a video presentation and tributes by family and friends, will be held at 7:30 pm on Sunday evening at Lubavitch Yeshiva, 570 Crown Street. It will also mark the completion of mishnayos in Rabbi Katzen’s memory.
