A spirited farbrengen and melava malka was held last night at 770 Eastern Parkway to mark the 8th yahrzeit of dedicated chossid and activist Rabbi Kuti Rapp.
Over the course of 4 hours members of his family, colleagues and former students shared recollections of R’ Kuti and many chasidishe stories related to Yud Bais Tammuz.
Rabbi Menachem Gerlitsky recited the Frierdiker Rebbe’s maamer Asarah Sheyoshvim delivered on the first Yud Bais Tammuz 5688. Rabbi Shmuel Dovid Shmueli sang Pada B’Shalom in honor of the Chag Hageula.
Rabbi Rapp served as a mashgiach at the Central Chabad Yeshiva in 770, alongside his mivtzoim activities, including founding ChabadAir and other mivtzoim activities in New York airports.
