A new Sefer Torah was dedicated on Sunday, Rosh Chodesh Nissan, in memory of Mrs. Gute Schapiro a”h, daughter of famed chossid Reb Peretz Mochkin.

Friends and family gathered at Lubavitch Yeshiva Hall to write the final letters in the new Sefer Torah. The siyum was followed by a parade to 770 and hakafos at 770 Eastern Parkway.

The new Sefer Torah was dedicated by R’ Shmuel and Leah Schapiro and family, and Chabad of Lake Tahoe, CA.
