Over 1,000 bochurim gathered on Monday night for a grand Bruchim Habaim, welcoming the many guests who had traveled to spend the month of Tishrei by the Rebbe.
Held in Bais Rivkah’s Campus Chomesh, the event was addressed by Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, Rabbi Avrohom Shemtov, Rabbi Mendel Groner, Rabbi Yosef Klyne, Rabbi Shaul Wilhelm, and Rabbi Zushe Winner.
In attendance were a number of other rabbonim and shluchim, alongside Crown Heights residents and supporters who came to welcome the Rebbe’s guests.
A special video of the Rebbe titled ‘Veromamtanu” was screened during the event and fascinated the guests.
Over the coming month, Vaad Hatmimim will be holding a long list of programs for bochurim and visitors spending Tishrei by the Rebbe, including farbrengens, visits to the Ohel, panels, and sedorim for learning.
Thanks to the hospitality of Vaad Hatmimim Haolami the Bochurim don’t need to worry about a place to eat and sleep allowing them to focus on the real reason they came – to spend Tishrei with the Rebbe.
Aside from arranging hundreds of beds and feeding thousands of Bochurim every day of Tishrei, the Vaad is determined to enhance the Ruchniyusdike environment for the Bochurim over Tishrei.
Some of the programs that the Vaad arrange over Tishrei are daily busses to and from the Ohel, Shiurim throughout the day in Nigleh and Chassidus, Panels of Zichronos from Tishrei with the Rebbe, Kovtzei Limud consisting of Maamorim, Sichos, and Yomanim along with tests on all the material with an extravagant reward system for the Bochurim who pass the test and much more.
