Rebbes, Roshei Yeshivos Join Chabad Mashpim at Prestigious Celebration

In a rare display of unity honoring philanthropist R’ Eliyahu Schlossberg, leading Chabad mashpiim and shluchim gathered alongside renowned rebbes and roshei yeshivos to celebrate the continued expansion of Torah and chassidus learning across Eretz Yisroel.

In a powerful display of unity and appreciation for Torah, the Maayonei Yisroel Center in Yerushalayim hosted a prestigious Tu B’Shevat event, bringing together a rare mix of leading admorim, Litvish roshei yeshivos, and prominent Chabad mashpiim.

The gathering, titled “Peirosecha Mesukim”, was held to mark the yahrzeit of the late Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Schlossberg z”l, and to honor his son, the renowned philanthropist R’ Eliyahu Schlossberg. R’ Eliyahu is a well-known patron of Torah, supporting the “Heichalei Avraham Yitzchak” Torah centers and the “Chibas Eliyahu” network of kollelim, dedicated to the study of both hora’ah and chassidus across Eretz Yisroel.

The intimate event was attended by students of the Chibas Eliyahu kollel and Yeshivas Hamaor Shebatorah, alongside Maayan Yisroel branch managers, shluchim, and administrators of various Torah institutions.

Seated at the dais was a unique coalition of leadership from across the spectrum. Leading the Chabad representation were the central mashpia R’ Zalman Gopin, the renowned mashpia R’ Yosef Yitzchak Gurevitch, and the mara d’asra and posek Harav Yekusiel Farkash.

They were joined at the head table by the Rachmastrivka Rebbe; the Pinsk-Karlin Rebbe; Harav Chaim Feinstein; Rosh Yeshivas Ateres Shlomo Rabbi Shalom Ber Sorotzkin; Rosh Yeshivas Shaarei Shmuos Rabbi Aryeh Shapira; and Rabbi Avrohom Mordechai Alter, mashpia and grandson of the Pnei Menachem of Gur. The Lelover Rebbe sent his blessings via Rabbi Simcha Krakovsky, Chairman of Hachnasas Orchim Lizhensk.

Also gracing the head table were Rabbi Chaim Min Hahar; Rosh HaKollelim of Mayonei Yisroel Rabbi Mendel Foigel; Rosh Yeshivas Hamaor Shebatorah Rabbi Y. Rosenbaum; and the Rav and mashpia of the community in Beit Shemesh, Rabbi Y.Y. Beck.

The event saw a strong presence of Lubavitch dignitaries and organizational leaders, including Chairman of Colel Chabad Rabbi Sholom Duchman; philanthropist R’ Chaim Yankel Leibovitch; CEO of Tomchei Tmimim Kiryat Gat and Keren Meromim Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Havlin; CEO of the Colel Chabad Office Rabbi Mendy Blau; CEO of Colel Shomrei Hachomos Rabbi Shlomo Klein; CEO of Tomchei Tmimim Migdal Haemek Rabbi Baruch Avisrur; CEO of Tomchei Tmimim Kfar Chabad Rabbi Sholom Ber Hadad; CEO of Yeshivas Hamaor Shebatorah Rabbi Yudel Markovitch; and Chairman of Tzach Yerushalayim Rabbi Naftali Roth.

Prominent shluchim in attendance included Rabbi Chaim Kaplan (Tzfas), Rabbi Nachum Goldschmid (Netanya), Rabbi Shneor Deutsch (Haditch), and Rabbi Shmuel Eisenfeld (Tel Aviv).

Participating from the leadership of the Maayan Yisroel communities were the morei hora’ah: Rabbi Yehoshua Greenwald (Bnei Brak), Rabbi Yeshaya Moshe Ganzler (Haifa), Rabbi Yechezkel Krishevsky (Jerusalem), Rabbi Meir Deutsch (Beitar Illit), Rabbi Elimelech Weissbaum (Ramat Beit Shemesh D), mashpia Rabbi Asher Nechemia Scharr (Ashdod), and rosh hakollel Rabbi Mordechai Orgel (Jerusalem).
