While on a whirlwind visit to London to lead a number of farbrengens, noted lecturer Rabbi YY Jacobson met the Vizhnitzer Rebbe of London, Rabbi Dovid Hagar, and discussed a recently launched increach initiative for local youth.
Rabbi YY was visiting London as part of his ‘farbengen tour‘, inspiring diverse crowds in a number of communities, leading farbrengens in Yiddish and English, and programs for men and women in the days prior to, and on Yud Tes Kislev.
While in the UK, he was invited to meet with the local Vizhnitzer Rebbe, known as the ‘Vizhnitz – London Rebbe’. The two held a lengthy discussion on a wide range of topics, but mainly discussed a new initiative that had been recently launched.
The initiative, copied from similar programs in Eretz Yisroel, sought to inspire and uplift bochurim with various methods, ensuring that no bochur “falls between the cracks of the system.”
