R’ Avrohom Yehoshua Parnes, a familiar face in Crown Heights, who for many years sold handmade silk gartelach to chassanim and yungeleit, passed away on Tuesday, Chof Cheshvan.

He was 72 years old.

He is survived by his children: Yosef Yitchok Parnes, and Berel Parnes; his siblings: Faige Jacobson, Esther Montal, and Usher Parnes.

He was predeceased by his brother Moshe Binyomin Parnes.

His levaya took place on Tuesday in Boro Park.
