The Toronto Chabad community is requesting that the public daven for the refuah shleima of their longtime rov, Harav Dovid Schochet, who will be undergoing surgery on Thursday.
Harav Schochet, longtime rov and mara d’asra in Toronto, has been serving his community with absolute dedication for over 65 years. In recent months, he has been suffering from ill health, and the Toronto community gathered to daven for him.
A notice published by the community said that Harav Schochet will be undergoing “life-saving surgery” on Thursday morning, Shiva Asar B’tammuz.
They asked that after davening, everyone should dedicate a few minutes to say a few chapters of Tehillim for his refuah shleima.
Suggested kapitelach are kapitel 20, kapitel 119-Psukim for Daled, Vov, Daled, and kapitel 150.
Harav Schochet’s name is Dovid ben Sara Sossa.
