President Joe Biden landed in Israel on Wednesday morning as he demonstrated the United States’ commitment to the Israel which has just experienced its worst terror attack that claimed over 1,400 Israeli lives.
He was greeted on the tarmac by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, Israeli Ambassador to the US Michael Herzog, and US chargés d’affaires Stephanie Hallett.
After President Herzog greeted Biden, he said: “G-d bless you for protecting the nation of Israel.”
The leaders immediately traveled to the David Kempinski Hotel in Tel Aviv, where the meeting between Netanyahu and Biden took place. Biden’s stay in Israel is scheduled to last for only five hours.
Welcoming Biden, Netanyahu said, “Just as the civilized world united to defeat the Nazis, and united to defeat ISIS, the civilized world must unite to defeat Hamas. I can assure you, Mr. President, Israel is united to defeat Hamas. And we will defeat Hamas and remove this terrible threat from our lives.”
“The forces of civilization will prevail – for our sake, for your sake, for peace and security in our region and in the world.”
Netanyahu also noted that Biden’s visit is the first-ever visit of a US president to Israel during a time of war. “It is deeply, deeply, moving,” he said, adding that it “speaks of the depth” of Biden’s commitment to the Jewish people and the Jewish state.
“Thank you for standing with Israel today, tomorrow, and always.”
President Biden opened his remarks by showing his steadfast commitment to Israel. “I wanted to be here today for a simple reason. I wanted the people of Israel, the people of the world, to know where the United States stands,” Biden said.
“You said imagine what those children hiding from Hamas are thinking. It’s beyond my comprehension to be able to imagine what they are thinking. They committed evils and atrocities that make ISIS look somewhat more rational.”
President Biden also confirmed that the blast yesterday at the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City in which hundreds of people were reportedly killed, was caused by an Islamic Jihad failed rocket launch.
“I was deeply sad and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday,” Biden said. “And based on what I’ve seen it appears though it was done by the other team, not you. But there’s a lot of people out there who are not sure, so we’re going to overcome a lot of things.
President Biden also met with family members of the victims of the horrific Hamas massacre as well as families of those who were taken hostage.
These are the the two people responsible for tying the IDF’s hands.
There are 600k reserves called up and not advancing.
The only way to victory is by taking back the land, those appearing to be our “friends” may not be who they look like.
It’s time we act with Geon Yakov and don’t follow commands from Washington
