Chabad Early Childhood is the international network serving Chabad preschools on Shlichus. The annual event during the Kinus weekend is a highlight for these Shluchos to discuss relevant issues and gain practical guidance and inspiration.
Mrs. Aidie Shusterman from Chabad of Beverly Hills spoke on how to ensure the core values we live by as Shluchim of the Rebbe can permeate every level of our preschools, and remain at the heart of everything we do.
In a heartfelt and raw account, Mrs. Sarah Naditch, preschool director in Tel Aviv, shared how amid her husband’s army service, she balanced supporting her children through trauma while keeping her preschool thriving – even transforming it into a shelter. Sarah offered valuable tips on staying grounded, the importance of self-care, and how to show up for your community during a crisis.
Mrs. Bassie Gurkow of Gan Gani Preschool pitched her intergenerational program, bringing the elderly into the classroom. This initiative strengthened community connections, secured government funding, and has been great for marketing her school
Ending off the day, panelists Mrs. Rivkie Spalter, Mrs. Rivky Block, Mrs. Mushkie Bitton, and Mrs. Elkie Zarchie answered a variety of questions and guided Shluchos in the struggles that come up, giving over the message of Achdus, Chayus and inspiration.
“Meeting the directors in person and gaining inspiration together was so meaningful and uplifting,” said Mrs. Rivky Baitelman, Chabad Early Childhood director. “I look forward to seeing everyone again at our upcoming recharge retreat this May!”
