Sholom Hurwitz, who recently celebrated his Bar Mitzvah, visited with the Rebbe’s secretary, Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky on the morning following his unforgettable appearance at the Kinus Hashluchim banquet.

Sholom is the son of Rabbi Yitzi and Dina Hurwitz. Yitzi has heroically been battling ALS for the last few years.

In the emotional meeting, Rabbi Krinsky shared with the Bar Mitzvah boy a dollar from the Rebbe, and gave an additional two dollars for his father and mother. 

Rabbi Simcha Backman accompanied Sholom on his visit with Rabbi Krinsky.
