Cheder Chabad of Monsey preschool held a large Hachnasa L’cheder ceremony on Sunday, led by Rabbi Yisroel Shusterman.
Twenty-five boys came wrapped in talleisim held by their fathers. Fathers helped their sons through the traditional minhagim of licking the honey on the Torah words, eating from the egg and honey cake with pesukim, receiving pekelach, and giving tzedaka.
Rabbi Shusterman addressed the boys and introduced them to the sweet taste of Torah.
