History was made yesterday, as the country of Montenegro in Southeast Europe elected their first Chief Rabbi, the shliach Rabbi Ari Edelkopf.  

The coronation ceremony was held in the presence of Montenegro President Milo Jokanovic, Minister of Religious Services in Israel Yitzhak Vaknin, Chairman of the European Jewish Association Rabbi Menachem Margolin, and other officials.
