With a spike in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the USA, social distancing is becoming increasingly recommended, helping to delay the spread of the illness and enable the health system to cope.
As a result, most shuls in Crown Heights and other communities have closed their doors, causing people to turn to their neighbors to help them fulfill their obligations.
Videos are circulating on social media showing mispallelim joining street minyanim, ensuring they keep the recommended distance of at least six feet apart.
