Nestled in the warm and nurturing environment of Chabad Zhitomir’s campgrounds, Yekea Winter Camp brought friends and counselors together once more. After a meaningful 36-hour journey from America, they reunited as the camp was inaugurated with a heartfelt Menorah lighting ceremony.

Nikolayev Shul Firebombed at Midnight, Plot Foiled

During Chanukah, shortly after midnight, a suspect approached the shul led by Shliach Rabbi Shalom Gottlieb in Nikolayev, Ukraine, and hurled a Molotov cocktail. The Shuls’ guard quickly noticed the attack and managed to extinguish the flames, preventing significant damage.
