The Aleph Institute is partnering with community organizations for an evening highlighting drug prevention and awareness.
Drug abuse is, unfortunately, an issue that affects every community. How do we strengthen our children to make the right decision? How do we prevent our families from getting sucked in? What if they are already exposed to dangerous influences? It is important to be armed with knowledge of the signs.
Presenters include Dr. Eli Rosen, who will deliver the keynote address, and David Kushner from Amudim who will do a Narcan training. Every attendee will go home with a Narcan kit and the training required to use it.
Rabbi Yossi Friedman from Hatzalah, Rabbi Meir New from Neshamos, and Shomrim of Crown Heights and Flatbush are teaming up to spread the message- before Tishrei- so that we can prevent the heartache of even one more overdose, chas veshalom.
The event will take place at 8:00 PM on Monday, September 23 at Lubavitcher Yeshiva.
