New Torah Finished In Time for Menorah Lighting
A new Sefer Torah for a Chabad shul in Eretz Yisroel was completed in 770 on Thursday. Following the writing of the last letters, chassidim and bochurim danced hakafos, concluding right in time for mincha and the lighting of the eighth Chanukah light.
