Mrs. Perl Danow of Paris, France, who served as a dedicated mechaneches for decades, passed away on the evening of 17 Cheshvan.
She was 76 years old.
Mrs. Danow was a dedicated mechaneches and worked in chinuch her whole life.
For the last 21 years, she worked as the senior educator at the Pardess Chana School in Montrouge, France, founded and directed by her daughter and son-in-law, Rabbi David and Chava Mimoun.
In addition to her involvement with the work of Neshei Uvnois Chabad in Paris, she served as a mentor for many women and girls who sought her advice and guidance, and was always willing to offer a listening ear.
She served as a mother figure and friend to her large family of descendants and to many others as well.
B”H she is the matriarch of 3 generations of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, chassidim and shluchim of the Rebbe.
After suffering from a stroke over four months ago, she passed away on the evening of 17 Mar-Cheshvan.
She is survived by her husband, Chazan Yehoshua Danow and by theirchildren, Mrs. Chava Mimoun, (Shluchah to Mountrouge, France), Rabbi Michoel Danow, (Shliach to Leeds Campus, England), Rabbi Reuven Danow (Shliach to the 3rd district in Paris), Rabbi Mendy Danow, (Shliach to the 2nd district in Paris) and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya left Montrouge, where she lived for the last few years, this morning, stopping by the Pardess Chana school, continuing to the airport to be flown to Israel for burial in Har Hazeisim.
Shiva will take place in Montrouge, France until next Wednesday morning.
