The impressive convoy of 76 Mitzvah Tanks traveled through the streets of Brooklyn today before dividing up and crossing all three bridges into Manhattan. Along the route and as they entered the city, bochurim could be seen dancing as the massive Mitzvah Tank Parade conquered the streets of New York City in honor of the Rebbe’s 124th birthday on Yud Alef Nissan.
Once in Manhattan, the tanks split up to their designated locations where the tankistim immediately set to work. Throughout the day, bochurim and children will distribute thousands of shmurah matzos, put tefillin on with hundreds of men, and spread the Rebbe’s message to countless Jews and non-Jews across the five boroughs.
