Following the conclusion of Shiva for Rabbi Adin Even-Israel (Steinsaltz), a matzeiva was erected over his kever with wording from the Rebbe about him.

The matzeiva reads: He opened the gates of Torah, and brought its light to all people. A Chassid and oived Hashem, connected in heart and soul to the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

It concludes with an inscription from words of the Rebbe’s about him: “I have found him to contain many more virtues than was described to me.”
