A global Zoom farbrengen will be held on Wednesday night in honor of the 40th birthday of JNet director Rabbi Yudi Dukes a”h, who passed away last year after a long battle with coronavirus.
The Jewish Learning Network and his friends at Merkos 302 will be hosting a zoom farbrengen on Thursday, 21 Kislev, at 8:00 PM.
Everyone is invited to join We will be hearing Yudi saying his birthday maamor last year and words of inspiration from his friends and colleagues all over the world.
After the official program everyone will be welcome to share their memories of Yudi and berachos with the Dukes family.
Yudi, who passed away last year on 8 Shevat, was the longtime director of JNet, a worldwide program that pairs people to study Judaism together. Even during his hospital stay, he would be working his phone and his iPad, directing JNet, and connecting people for weekly sessions of over-the-phone Torah-study.
