The levaya for Rabbi Yehuda Shomer, a young father and teacher from Pittsburgh, passed by 770 Eastern Parkway on Thursday afternoon.
Born in Toronto, Canada, Rabbi Shomer served as a teacher in Yeshiva Schools and Hillel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was known for being passionate about chinuch, and for giving over his lessons in a creative and engaging manner.
He is survived by his daughters Menucha and Chaya.
