The levaya of Mrs. Miriam Paltiel-Gordon, a mother and grandmother of a large Chabad family, who chronicled her chassidic childhood in Soviet Russia, passed 770 on Tuesday.
She is survived by her children, Zeesy Posner (R. Yosef), Rishe Deitsch (R. Avrohom Moshe), Rivkah L. Groner (R. Chaim Tzvi), Etty Gurevitch (R. Yossele), and R. Yossy Gordon (Rochel), grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her bother, Reb Abba Paltiel.
Shiva will be observed at 667 Crown Street until Monday morning.
Shachris will be 9 a.m., Minchah at 3:15 p.m., and Maariv at 8 p.m.
The family asks that visitors not come between 12 and 2 p.m. or after 10 p.m.
