In homes all around the world, Young Shluchim are preparing excitedly for this year’s Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim. With just 3 weeks remaining until their arrival in New York, the Shluchim Office, which organizes the program, has announced the theme of the children’s convention.
It is based on the posuk: (וְנִפְלִ֨ינוּ֙ אֲנִ֣י וְעַמְּךָ֔ מִכָּ֨ל־הָעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָֽאֲדָמָֽה” (שמות לג, ט”ז”
“…Then I and Your people will be distinguished from every [other] nation on the face of the earth.”
This year the Kinus will be focused on the concept of וְנִפְלִינוּ. The Shluchim are distinguished and given a special opportunity to live a life completely dedicated to bringing Yidden closer to Yiddishkeit. This also comes with a corresponding responsibility. A Shliach of the Rebbe has standards that are not the same as everyone else. There are things that might be ok for other people, but a Shliach of the Rebbe will refrain from.
The team preparing the Grand Banquet is seeking stories of Young Shluchim that are connected to ונפלינו, (i.e. they acted in a way that highlights this special standard of Shluchim, etc.) to be featured in a video presentation. They ask to share those stories to [email protected].
The Shluchim Office noted that they will be closing registration on Thursday, 9 Cheshvan / November 7th, in order to allow the staff to plan the program and logistics. Parents are requested to please sign up on time by clicking here.
