Injured Bochur Receives Hero’s Welcome Back at Yeshiva

Shneur Zalman Blesofsky, the bochur who was seriously injured when a van with 12 bochurim overturned into a deep ditch while returning from a Chof Beis Shevat trip to New York, received a joyous and warm welcome on a visit to Yeshiva on Sunday.

Shneur Zalman Blesofsky, the bochur who was seriously injured when a van with 12 bochurim overturned into a deep ditch while returning from a Chof Beis Shevat trip to New York, received a joyous and warm welcome on a visit to Yeshiva on Sunday.

Following his accident, Zalman remained is serious condition for a number of weeks, after which he began greatly improving. On Thursday of last week, he was released from the hospital, and greeted joyfully by family and friends.

On Sunday, the three Yeshivos in the Poconos gathered for a Siyum Harambam. During the Siyum, they welcomed Zalman, who had returned for a visit, back to Yeshiva with a spirited dance, thanking Hashem for his great miracles.

Zalman also addressed the bochurim, thanking them for their tefillos, and the entire celebration took an additional dimension of thanks and gratitude.

Following the celebration, Zalman will be heading back to rehab, where he will continue on his journey to full health b’ezras Hashem.
