Hundreds of Bochurim from five different Zals gathered in Morristown, NJ, for a special Shabbos Hachana in preparation for the 30th Gimmel Tammuz, where they davened, learned and farbrenged together.
As Gimmel Tammuz 30 years approaches, bochurim around the world eagerly seek ways to strengthen their connection to the Rebbe. Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim launched a series of initiatives to assist Bochurim in their Hachanos.
Hundreds of Bochurim from five different Zals gathered in Morristown, NJ, for a special Shabbos Hachana in preparation for the 30th Gimmel Tammuz, where they davened, learned and farbrenged together.
The Shabbos Hachana was joined by bochurim learning in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Morristown, Beis Medrash Oholei Torah, Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Nyack, Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Baltimore, and Yeshivas Beis Dovid Shlomo New Haven. Leading the Shabbos Hachana were the mashpiim from the various yeshivos, and guest speaker shliach Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor of Thailand.
Another Shabbos Hachana is set to take place in a few weeks in Detroit, MI, joined by Bochurim learning in Yeshivas Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Detroit, Yeshivas Oholei Menachem Mendel Toronto and Yeshivas Ohr Eliyahu Chicago. Other events and initiatives being organized are Yom Hachana and special Mivtzahs in Yeshivas around the world.
The Shabbos Hachana was held in memory of Rabbi Moshe Yehuda ben Harav Tzvi Yosef Kotlarsky AH, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch.
