On July 22, 1986, a delegation of the Beth Rivkah of Montreal, led by Rabbi Leibel Kramer, met with the Mayor of Montreal, Jean Drapeau, to obtain the approval for the expansion of the School.

In honor of the Bar Mitzvah of Aryeh Leib Kramer of Los Angeles, CA, the Rabbi Kramer Legacy project released photos of his great grandfather, Rabbi Leibel Kramer of Montreal, meeting with then-Mayor of Montreal, Jean Drapeau.

The Mayor approved the expansion.
