Men and women of the Chicago community filled the B’nei Ruven shul for a seudah and farbrengen marking the auspicious day of Yud Shvat.
The highlight of the evening was an inspirational address by guest speaker Rabbi Levi Jacobson, shliach in Thornhill, Ontario.
Following the formal address, the men stayed on for a farbrengen that continued until the early hours of the morning.
The evening was arranged by Rabbi Boruch Hertz, rov of the Chabad community in Chicago, and Rabbi Moshe Markowitz.
