Tzama Lecha Nafshi With a Cantorial Twist

In honor of Yud Shvat, and as part of the project to record all of the Rebbe‘s Niggunim, chazzon Dovid Caytak recorded and released the niggun of ‘Tzama Lecha Nafshi’ with musical accompaniment and a choir.

Tzama Lecha Nafshi is a niggun from the Alter Rebbe that the Rebbe taught to the Chassidim on Parshas Kedoshim, Shabbos Mevarchim Iyar 5714.

The Rebbe explained, that when you are in a time of concealment and thirst from Hashem, that very thirst brings us closer to him and allows us to see him.

In honor of Yud Shvat and as part of the project to record the Rebbes Niggunim, Dovid Caytak has recorded Tzama Lecha Nafshi with instruments and choir.
