An emergency fundraising campaign has been launched following the terror attack at the Chanukah by the Sea menorah lighting event on Bondi Beach in Sydney on Sunday, the first night of Chanukah.
The attack took place during a public Chanukah gathering when at least two gunmen opened fire on attendees who had gathered to light the menorah. Multiple people were killed and many others were injured.
In response, an emergency campaign has been established to support the victims of the attack, their families, and those who were wounded.
The campaign is endorsed by Merkos – Chabad World Headquarters and Chabad NSW.
It has received backing from Rabbi Aycee Abrahams, Rabbi Menachem Aron, Rabbi Mendel Kastel, Rabbi Aron Moss, RabbiMendy Schapiro, and Rabbi Levi Wolff.
