The Chidon Grand Finale unfolded on Thursday, March 19^th, drawing thousands of chayolim, families, and supporters who tuned in live to watch the International Sara Rohr Siyum HaMitzvos Game Show.

Boys in grades 4-8 from around the world came together to compete and cheer each other on at the event, which included an exhilarating game show and award ceremony, marking the completion of many months of intense Torah study. These dedicated middle school students have spent countless hours of their spare time mastering the details, significance, and reasons behind all 613 Mitzvos.

“It was worth every minute of studying,” affirmed nine-year-old Chidon participant Yankel Leiter, who joined the program for the first time this year. “I’m here from Sydney, Australia,” shared Nossen Schlanger, an 8th grader who was also present at the event on Thursday. “After five years of studying almost every day for the Chidon, it feels great to have this experience!” 

Over 300 schools from 46 countries and numerous cities participated in this momentous occasion, showcasing the remarkable depth of Torah knowledge and learning that their students have acquired. The event, which was broadcast at 11am EST, captured the attention of more than 100,000 viewers!

Two leading voices in Chabad’s Jewish music scene–Benny Friedman and Eli Marcus–performed live and captivated the crowd with their uplifting songs and energy. Talented show hosts Chony Milecki and Rabbi Avremi Rapoport also brought a meaningful touch to the celebration, providing entertainment and commentary for both the in-person and online viewers. During the broadcast, a special video tribute was made to Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky A”H.

The program kicked off with representatives from each grade participating in various fast-paced style trivia games, beginning first with 4th grade and then culminating with an all-new Rapid Response Showdown by the boys in KHK (Kol HaTorah Kula).

The event concluded by announcing all the winners of the highly sought-after Chidon Trophies, with Rabbi Sholom Ber Baumgarten presenting the Bronze winners, Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky the Silver, and Rabbi Yerachmiel Binyaminson the Gold.
