Since Yud Tes Kislev, an intense learning challenge has taken place at the Yeshiva of Brunoy. 120 bochurim have immersed themselves in an in-depth study of Tanya, and after months of hard work, rigorous learning, and several tests, they had a chidon.
This past Yud Tes Kislev, 120 bochurim of the Yeshiva of Brunoy began an in-depth study of the Tanya, the basic work of Chassidus Chabad. After several months of dedication and multiple tests on the subject, they have reached a significant milestone: a final test on the 53 chapters of Tanya.
All of the participants that learned the subject matter were tested. Of those tested, the 20 bochurim with the highest marks were selected to participate in the oral competition. During this competition, they were asked questions and if they answered correctly they moved up to the next level.
The final of the Chidon consisted of a written test, where only four of the bochurim were chosen to compete. The winner got a set of Toras Menachem, an anthology of the Rebbe’s Farbrengens, comprising 60 volumes. Each participating bochur also had the honor of receiving a set of sefarim.
Their names, in order of their ranks, are as follows:
