As they prepared to set off to France to spend the year as shluchim in the Brunoy yeshiva, a group of bochurim posed in front of 770 Eastern Parkway, and then broke into a chassidishe dance.

The group includes Shmuly Wolowik, Tzvi Yakov Oster, Nochum Tzvi Chaikin, Zalman Jaffe and Nosson Kornhauser. Three other bochurim were included on Oholei Torah’s shluchim list, but did not travel with the group.

The bochurim, who will be serving as the talmidim hashluchim to the yeshiva in Brunoy for the coming two years, first posed for a picture in front of 770, where they just spent the month of Tishrei. They then broke into a dance, as the van to transport them to the airport waited nearby.

The Brunoy Yeshiva is the largest yeshiva in Europe and one of the largest and oldest yeshivos in the Tomchei Tmimim nework. Over 350 bochurim study at the yeshiva every year, about half of them from France and the rest from all over the world.

The yeshiva is led by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yechiel Kalmenson, and Menahel Rabbi Itche Nemenov.
