Thousands around the world will be celebrating the Siyum Harambam on 17 Tammuz this year. The siyum will be a triple celebration, marking the completion of the 39th cycle of 3 perakim per day, the 13th cycle of one perek per day, and the siyum of Sefer Hamitzvos.
With gathering prohibited or discouraged this year, many siyum will be held online, giving the opportunity for anyone around the world to join the celebrations.
Many of the siyumim will be having unique features this year, thanks to the wonders of modern technology being utilized instead of the large gatherings.
One siyum will be broadcasting live from the Rambam’s kever in Teveria, a second from his home in Fez, Morocco. A childrens program will be hosted by singer Benny Friedman and Los Angeles Rosh Yeshiva Harav Ezra Schochet will be speaking by the central New York siyum as well as the West Coast siyum. Every siyum has something special.
