The annual YSP trip to the Ohel for Chof Av took place this year as well, with the camp driving in from the Pocono Mountains especially for the visit.
Talmidim rose early to prepare and write Panim. The drive, on comfortable coach buses, was spent learning or reading about Chof Av.
The sincerity of the Talmidim as they waited on line and entered the Ohel was visible to all. Many of the passersby commented on their mature and respectful behavior.
The camp then went to the nearby Elmont Jewish Center where they enjoyed a deluxe bagel brunch .
