Over 500 young professionals spread out to gracious hosts throughout Crown heights, enjoying the warmth of an authentic Shabbos meal and a taste of Jewish family life.

Over 550 participants in the Chabad Young Professionals Encounter Shabbaton, enjoyed an authentic Shabbos experience in Crown Heights.

Over Shabbos, the YPs were treated to a unique program, with top-of-the-line guest speakers and first-class accommodations. 

After a beautiful candle-lighting ceremony, the 500+ young professionals spread out to gracious hosts throughout Crown heights, enjoying the warmth of an authentic Shabbos meal and a taste of Jewish family life. This was followed by the one-of-a-kind Met@Chabad Social Mixer event, connecting the singles in a marriage-oriented experience.

Throughout Shabbos day, they enjoyed a communal meal, joining together in the Oholei Torah ballroom for an awe-inspiring scene. Hundreds of young professionals together with their Shluchim and Shluchos from around the globe sat together as one, a true embodiment of Hakhel.

Throughout the program, they listened to iconic speakers and teachers, including Rabbi and Rebbetzin Simon and Shaindy Jacobson, renowned fashion entrepreneur Joyce Azria, platinum-singer Alex Clare, and Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald.

The discussions centered around three pertinent themes in the lives of the Shabbaton participants: Building a Jewish family, taking on a proactive leadership role (“Ambassadors of Light”), and personal Mitzvah commitments.
