Yisroel Yudkin, a Lubavitcher bochur from Kfar Chabad who served as a company commander in the Netzach Yehudah battalion in Gaza, was killed in heavy fighting.

Yisroel Yudkin, a Lubavitcher bochur from Kfar Chabad who served as a company commander in the Netzach Yehudah battalion in Gaza, was killed in heavy fighting.

He was 23 years old.

Yisroel learned in the Tomchei Temimim Daas yeshiva in Rechovot and later joined the IDF’s Netzach Yehudah frum battalion.

He is the son of R’ Tuvia and Tzippy Yudkin of Kfar Chabad. R’ Tuvia just got up from shiva in Crown Heights for his father, Reb Schneur Zalman Yudkin AH, and he is now headed back to Eretz Yisroel for his son’s levaya.

He is survived by his parents, R’ Tuvia and Tzipi Yudkin, and siblings.
