Yiddish Song Expresses Our Youth’s Longing for the Rebbe

A heartrending Yiddish song, composed by Mashpia Rabbi Yosef Klyne, conveys the cry of our youth who are too young to have seen the Rebbe and their plea to bring back those special times.

As chassidim mark 30 years from Chof Zayin Adar, Anash.org presents a heartrending Yiddish song, that conveys the cry of our youth who are too young to have seen the Rebbe and their plea to bring back those ‘good days.’

To the tune of the classic Rotziso Hashem, the lyrics were written at the Tzeirei Hatemimim summer program by Nyack Mashpia Rabbi Yosef Klyne, director of the program.

This recording was played and sung by Habochur Meir Sasonkin.

LYRICS BELOW

  1. Amazing!

This song really brings out the feeling of those who were “in hester geborren,” born into the concealment.
