Over 400 men, women and children joined a weekend-long program by Yagdil Torah Montreal ahead of Yud Alef Nissan, with shiurim and farbrengens by guest speaker Rabbi Yossi Paltiel.
Yagdil Torah Montreal organized a Mega Hakhel weekend for men, women, and children for Shabbos Mevorchim Nissan with guest Mashpia Rabbi Yossi Paltiel from New York, in preparation for Yud Alef Nisan.
It started on Thursday evening with a Shiur for women in honor of Chof Hey Odor, the Rebbetzin’s birthday, followed by a Shiur for men in the Sicha of Beis Nissan Mem Ches – the concept of a Rebbe.
This was followed by an all-night Farbrengen for men, all about the connection of a Rebbe to a Chossid and to every Jew.
As Shabbos came in, the spirit of the community was uplifted. Shabbos started with a Seder Nigunim after Mincha, followed by a shiur in ma’amar Beyom Ashtei Osor which continued in the morning as well after Tehilim.
A grand Kidush for men, women and children was organized in a nearby hall to accommodate the large crowd.
The kiddush went on the whole afternoon with a full catered seudah, a geshmakeh farbrengen with nigunim and divrei hisorerus and chizuk in hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
Overall over 400 people joined throughout the weekend in a one of kind Shabbaton in Montreal.
