Jewish singer Yaakov Shwekey paid a visit to the home of Rabbi Yitzi Hurwitz who recently celebrated his 51st birthday, with a worldwide tefillin campaign.

Rabbi Yitzi is facing one of life’s most difficult challenges, yet he continues to inspire all those who come in contact with him to greater joy and faith.

Shwekey is visiting Los Angeles for an exclusive concert in support of the La Brea Spa Mikvah, which is being built in memory of Rabbi Shimon Raichik, fulfilling a lifelong dream of his.

Rabbi Raichik had mentioned numerous times that he wished the members of the LaBrea community of Los Angles would be able to have a beautiful, private, and dignified mikvah experience with all of the Chabad hidurim.

When the Raichik family was deciding which project to take on as Rabbi Raichik’s legacy they received a very clear letter from the Rebbe emphasizing to create a beautiful women’s mikvah and all those involved in it will surely see brachos.
