Work on 770 Wall Resumes

After waiting for the large number of Tishrei guests to head home, Vaad Bedek HaBayis has resumed repairs on the retaining wall of 770’s yard.

After waiting for the large number of Tishrei guests to head home, Vaad Bedek HaBayis, headed by Rabbi Chaim Boruch Halberstam, has started repairs on the retaining wall of 770’s yard .

In recent years, the retaining wall that surrounds the front part of the chotzer (yard) has slowly been deteriorating. As is the case with many older structures, time and weather have taken their toll.

After assessing the urgent need, the decision was made this past summer to repair and restore the wall. Repair work was halted shortly before Tishrei and the wall was covered with planks of wood for protection. Now, as 770 returns to its normal routine, work has resumed.
