Every year, the Rebbe would give Matonos Lo’evyonim towards Kupas Bochurim, taking care of needy Tmimim. Keren Tomchei Bochurim continues with that mission, supplying clothes and basics for bochurim.
Over the next few hours, you will no doubt be deciding how best to direct your Matanos L’evyonim.
It is well known that each Purim, the Rebbe would call in Rabbi Mordechai Mentlick a”h and give Matonos Lo’evyonim towards Kupas Bochurim, taking care of the needy Tmimim, who needed assistance with purchasing clothing and other needs. The Rebbe cherished the Bochurim as his very own and worried about their care.
Over the next month, the Keren Tomchei Bochurim, a project of Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim, will be assisting hundreds of Bochurim with clothing for Yom Tov, including new suits and hats, sets of Tzitzis, shoes, glasses and more. Your Tzedakah will help these Bochurim.
