In an emotional segment of the Kinus Hashluchim Grand Event, the family and colleagues of Rabbi Benny Wolff a”h promised him that they would continue and expand his work in Hanover, Germany, beginning with the purchase of a permanent Chabad House for the city.

The video featured one of the sons of Rabbi Binyamin Wolff, shliach to Hanover, Germany, who tragically passed away earlier this year at 43. He left eight children and a community he served with generosity and dedication.

Presented as a letter from Rabbi Wolff’s Son, Levi Yitzchok, to his father, the segment first had Levi recalling his father’s dedication to the needs of every Jew in the community. Levi then told his father how he drew inspiration from his memory, and promised to continue his work.

After watching the young boy place the letter by his father’s grave, the video paused for an announcement by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, who told of Rabbi Wolff’s dream to have a permeant Chabad House.

“Tonight I am proud to announce the purchase of a the permeant Chabad House of Hanover, Germany, which will be called Beis Binyomin, after Rabbi Binyomin Wolff,” Rabbi Kotlarsky said.

Back in Hanover, viewers saw the purchase of the building, and the transfer of the keys to Mrs. Shternie Wolff by the previous owner, who told her that “now the building belongs to the Rebbe.”

The family and shluchim from neighboring cities then went to Rabbi Wolff’s grave, to present him with the keys, to tell him of the fulfillment of his dream, and to promise, once again, that his work would continue, flourish and expand.
