The Moshiach Office released an inspiring new video highlighting the uniqueness of Achron Shel Pesach in anticipation of the upcoming Festival of the Future.
The short film speaks volumes about the special day of Achron Shel Pesach and how dear it is to the Rebbe.
“Achron Shel Pesach is the day when all Yidden, even the most unaffiliated, are receptive to the concept of Moshiach. This is the time to share the message of bitachon connected to geulah!” Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, Director of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302 exclaims.
In honor of Achron Shel Pesach, the Moshiach Office launched “Festival of the Future”, a full-range, single-themed package of 20+ resources to make Achron Shel Pesach and Moshiach Seudah meaningful and impactful – for your Chabad House, shul and home!
This year’s theme is Oasis of Calm: Experience the Serenity of a Future Reality amid the Current Anxiety. Community members will enjoy a complete experience throughout the day of Achron Shel Pesach, walking away with a feeling of calm and surety even in the current state of the world and their lives; bitachon inspired by a Geulah about to come.
“Every Yid has a spark of Moshiach within them,” explains Rabbi Shmuly Avtzon, director of Sichos in English, in the video, “On Achron Shel Pesach that spark is revealed and the tables are turned – Moshiach bipshitus and golus behischadshus!”
Rabbi Mendel Raskin, Shliach to Côte-St-Luc, Montreal tells of the last farbrengen he attended before embarking on shlichus. At that farbrengen, Achron Shel Pesach 5746, the Rebbe was clear about the change in times; there is nothing to fear nowadays with promoting and inviting people to Moshiach Seudah, people are more receptive to the idea.
“We went out on shlichus with this fire,” relates Rabbi Raskin, “And by our first Moshiach Seudah, the next year, we saw Hatzlacha beyond the natural order! Seven hundred people showed up!”
