Today, Central Israel came under fire from Hamas in Gaza, terror groups in Iraq, the Houthis in Yemen, and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Hostages:

Based on new intelligence, the IDF determined that hostage Idan Shtivi had been murdered at the Nova Festival before terrorists took his body to Gaza.

Gaza:

As predicted, Hamas fired rockets towards Central Israel today, to mark October 7th. However, the attack was significantly scaled down from what they had intended, after the IAF preemptively struck most launching pads in Gaza.

In total, Hamas fired 14 rockets at the Sderot, Tel Aviv, and Ashdod areas. Two women in Kfar Chabad were lightly injured from shrapnel.

The IDF is again calling in civilians in northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun, Jabaliya, Beit Lahiya to evacuate to the humanitarian zone, ahead of intense operations.

Evacuations were also ordered from large parts of Khan Younis, from where Hamas launched rockets today.

Unfortunately, Sinwar appears to be alive. Mediators (aka Qatar), claim to be back in communication with him.

The IDF says that 14,000 terrorists in Gaza can be confirmed dead, and 3,000 more are possibly dead.

Lebanon:

Hezbollah fired around 200 rockets and missiles into Israel today, targeting a wide range in Northern Israel, and the Tel Aviv area in Central Israel. There are no reports of major injuries from Hezbollah today, thank G-d.

The IDF announced the names of two fallen heroes:
Master Sgt. (res.) Etay Azulay, 25, from Oranit.
Warrant Officer (res.) Aviv Magen, 43, from Herut.

The chief of the northern command estimates that Israelis evacuated from the north may begin to be able to return home already in a month’s time.

The 91st Division joined the 98th and 36th Divisions in the ground maneuver in Lebanon, expanding control at a very fast rate. The IDF is still limiting information on whereabouts of operations inside Lebanon, to keep Hezbollah in the fog. Battles are fierce.

The IDF called on residents of over two dozen more Southern Lebanon villages to evacuate. Some of the villages included are north of the Litani River.

Civillians were warned to stay off beaches in Southern Lebanon, as the Israeli Navy will start firing from there.

100 Israeli fighter jets hit over 120 Hezbollah targets in Southern Lebanon alone, in less than an hour today. 70 more targets were hit throughout the day, to support troops on ground.

In what now seems to be a nightly tradition, the IDF called for more evacuations in Beirut’s southern suburbs tonight, before beginning with bombings of major Hezbollah targets.

Over the past two weeks, Israel hit over 100 Hezbollah targets in Beirut. Hezbollah already kept huge munitions storages in Beirut (Dahiyeh district) before the war, but recently moved even more stockpiles there, erroneously thinking it would be safe from the IDF.

In addition to munitions warehouses, the IDF hit Hezbollah intelligence command rooms under Beirut today.

Iran’s IRGC Quds Force commander, Esmail Qaani, is still unaccounted for. But military sources say that if he was with Hashem Safieddine when he was targeted, the IDF hadn’t intended it. (I’m sure they’re cool with it though.)

Lebanese media reports that Nasrallah’s deputy, Naim Qassem, has been unaccounted for, for the last two days.

Over 400,000 people have reportedly fled Lebanon and crossed into Syria over last two weeks.

Iraq & Yemen:

The IDF intercepted two drones off the coast of Rishon Letzion, which came from Iranian-backed terror groups in Iraq.

The Houthis launched one ballistic missile at central Israel, which was intercepted by the Arrow Defense system while still outside the atmosphere.

No significant physical injuries reported in either incident.

Iran:

Reports seem to indicate that Israel is preparing a very significant attack against Iran, in the coming days.

Reports of minor explosions in Tehran tonight appear unrelated to Israel.

Other:

Rounded rocket tally for the last 12 months:
13,200 from Gaza
12,400 from Lebanon
400 from Iran
180 from Yemen
60 from Syria
—> Iraq has mostly fired drones
